April/May 2007
Dear Friends,
I hope this finds you content, happy and energized from our
snowy winter. Enclosed is the Tai Chi schedule for the spring
and summer season. Please note the exciting new addition below.
At my most recent Tai Chi teachers training with Tai Chi Master Chungliang Al Huang, we reflected on the I-Ching (Book of Changes) Hexagram #24 called the "Turning Point". Let me share it with you:
It is spring,. . ."the light begins
to return. This is a reminder to turn to the light inside
ourselves. . . Simply observe and accept changes, as you observe
the rising of the sun. By holding to modesty and gentleness
you prepare the ground for fruitful blossoming when the light
fully returns. . ."

The I-Ching
Practicing
Tai Chi in nature, near the ocean or the mountains, feeling
good about ourselves while practicing and finding the unity
in opposites/extremes of our life are all things I was reminded
of in my Tai Chi retreat. With the sunlight, warmth and abundance
I hope you too will renew and deepen your commitment to Tai
Chi and Jin Shin Jyutsu/Reiki practices and we can share many
more magical moments this Spring/Summer season.
Thinking about expanding has inspired me to my newest
offering: "Expanding Tai Chi" is focusing
primarily on Third Circle learning which
will be offered for the first time Monday nights beginning
in May 8:15–9:15 (possibly earlier) for 6 weeks in Boulder.
Please join us for this wonderful addition (requested by long
time students of mine) and any other classes or JinShin Jyutsu/Reiki
sessions you can make. My office hours in Cherry Creek are
on Wednesdays.
I also hope to see many of you at our annual Women's Fitness Retreat this summer. Enjoy dancing your Tai Ji in the Spring/Summer sessions in the year of the Wild Boar.
Love,

‘You ask why I've settled in these emerald mountains,
and so I smile, mind at ease of itself, and I say nothing.
Peach Blossoms drift streamwater away deep in mystery.
It's another heaven and earth, no where among people.’
